I’ve told you before about our work with HCT, Britain’s largest social enterprise bus company.
Eight hundred people work for them, in London, Leeds, Wakefield, Hull, Bristol and the Channel Islands.
We’ve been running programmes with them for the last two years aimed at educating and inspiring groups of their people, mainly bus drivers, about the possibilities for social enterprise.

This year’s programme recently finished with two days in London. On the first day we visited Livity, a fantastic social enterprise based in Brixton, dealing in socially responsible youth communications. Do go and have a look at their website to see some of the brilliant work they’re doing with and for young people. Several champions rated this as the strongest social enterprise we visited all year.

The second day was spent at the RSA, just off the Strand. We reviewed the year, met with the HCT Senior team to talk about it all. Then in the evening we all went to the launch of this year’s HCT Group Social Impact Report, where Seth Antwi, one of the Champions, made a very moving speech about his experiences on the programme.
And you can see highlights of the year’s programme here:
I love this cause, Ronnie. Keep up the good work. You ARE making a difference. xx
