After several days of torrential rain then the annual peculiarity of us all getting up and acting as if the time has really slipped back an hour, today the sky turned deeply blue and Sarah and I went out on one of our favourite walks. A walk we do regularly but haven’t since February. It was glorious as you’ll see, and muddy as you might also notice.
It’s the walk in the hills and woods around the Shining Shore at Thurstaston on the Wirral, and today it glistened in perfect autumn. A perfection requiring no further words than this brief introduction.

Beautiful!!
