One week into the 2020 corona virus isolation, here with Sarah, I began writing what I’d hoped would be a short series of weekly articles called “Home Life During a Pandemic” about life in Liverpool for us while the crisis persisted. In the event Weeks One to Nine got written under that title, and are listed below, before we decided our ‘opening weeks’ observations were over, and that all of us were clearly in for a long and serious time of trouble.
So here are our early pandemic stories. A collection of observations, opinions, poems, walks and stories from these virus days that look like continuing for some considerable time yet because, as of early July 2020, the pandemic is looking like it will last a lot longer yet.
