This has been my saving grace in all of this, this piece of earth,
My peace on earth this plot of land, my refuge for my work,
A friendship place of just us few, these weekly conversations. And still my place as autumn comes, the season’s turn, the dieback,
August Bank Holiday 2020
Of time’s return, but only slight, for me I’ll mostly stay
In here inside my saving grace, since early spring: allotmenting.
